17MK-1 1873 WINCHESTER #63274Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, .44 WCF, Serial #63274. The carbine is in very good overall condition with a 20” barrel. The barrel and full-length magazine retain a significant amount of muted bluewith the remainder going to a dark patina. The receiver shows some blue in the protected areas with the remainder a pleasing plum patina and the saddle ring is intact. The dust cover is retained and the hammer showssome old, muted case hardening. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with mars and compressions consistent with use. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate with trap. The bore is good, theaction is crisp and markings are legible. Est.: $1,750-$3,500.
