18AO-2 PARKER BROS SXS #108602Parker Bros. side by side shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #108602. The shotgun is good to nearly very good overall condition with 30” barrels. The barrels feature a steel bead front sight with a full-length filed rib andParker Bros. barrel address noting the use of, “VULCAN STEEL”. The barrels retain the majority of their muted blue finish with scratches, mars and loss of finish at the muzzle. The receiver shows muted casehardening with more vivid colors hidden under the lever and in protected areas around the trigger guard. The receiver also has border engraving, a tang mounted safety and double triggers. The checkered wood stocks are ingood condition with a splinter fore end, small mars, loss of finish and a chip at the toe. The buttstock ends with a Parker Bros. hard rubber butt plate which is damaged at the toe providing a 14” LOP to the fronttrigger. The bores are good, the action crisp and markings are sharp.
