Characteristically American walnut stockshowing no rear ram rod ferrule or fore end cap and bag shape grip. Classic American engraving and shape to trigger guard. No side plate with oval brass escutcheon around 1 lock screw. The lock is unmarked and showsAmerican styling and engraving. Uncleaned and untouched “as found” condition with authentic lock parts, hammer, top jaw, frizzen and etc. Measures 15 ¼” overall with a 9 ¼” barrel. The wood is very good plus toalmost fine.
