Factory engraved Colt SAA revolver, .45 caliber, 5.5” barrel, nickel finish, raised carved steer head ivory two-piece grips, S/N 126609. Accompanied by a factory letter confirming caliber and barrel length and Lot Title factory engraved; also notes finish as blue and stocks as rubber; shipment to Hartley and Graham, NY, NY on June 19, 1888, 6 guns in shipment. Also accompanying this Colt is a notarized typed letter dated Oct. 28, 2011 Lot Title signed by Robert F. Rogers stating “The engraved ivory gripped Colt Single Action Revolver (Serial Number 126609) was rebuilt in the 1950’s for my Grandfather John F. (Frank) Branson who lived in El Reno, Lot Title Oklahoma. He had this Colt rebuilt for his personal collection. The pistol has wonderful ivory grips engraved with a steer head and ruby eyes. The barrel and cylinder are Colt factory parts from the 1950’s. The Lot Title engraving was freshened and the entire revolver refinished in nickel”. Also present is a photo of John F.
