Factory engraved Colt SAA revolver, .45 caliber, 5.5” barrel, nickel finish, raised carved steer head ivory two-piece grips, S/N 126609. Accompanied by a factory letter confirming caliber and barrel length and Lot Title factory engraved; also notes finish as blue and stocks as rubber; shipment to Hartley and Graham, NY, NY on June 19, 1888, 6 guns in shipment. Also accompanying this Colt is a notarized typed letter dated Oct. 28, 2011 Lot Title signed by Robert F. Rogers stating “The engraved ivory gripped Colt Single Action Revolver (Serial Number 126609) was rebuilt in the 1950’s for my Grandfather John F. (Frank) Branson who lived in El Reno, Lot Title Oklahoma. He had this Colt rebuilt for his personal collection. The pistol has wonderful ivory grips engraved with a steer head and ruby eyes. The barrel and cylinder are Colt factory parts from the 1950’s. The Lot Title engraving was freshened and the entire revolver refinished in nickel”. Also present is a photo of John F. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
