Accompanied by a hand signed letter from John P. Parker indicating gun was issued to Officer E. Asa Parker(1889-1981) (John’s grandfather) stating Asa was a member of the U.S. Army’s 26th Infantry (“Yankee Division”) and served in combat during WW I at the Battle of Saint Mihiel and the Battle of the Argonne Forest.(C&R/PPT).
