Maynard Model 1863 Saddle Ring percussion carbine, .50 caliber, Serial #711. The carbine is in good overall condition with a 20” round barrel. The barrel has gone to a plum brown patina with light to moderatesurface erosion and pin prick pitting in areas. The receiver has gone to a mottled grey patina with the saddle ring intact. The smooth wood stock is in fair condition showing heavy use with mars and dents, lossof wood at the tang and the smooth steel butt plate a bit proud at the toe. The stock has a nice cartouche behind the tang on the left side. The bore in fair, the action functions and the markings are sharp on thisCivil War era carbine. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
