Colt Shooting Master .45 LC, Gold Inlay, engraved, with extensive documentation, S/N 324398 with a factory 6” barrel, fully and finely engraved and gold inlaid by F.E. Warren of Cortland, OH for Mr. R.E. Carter of Owensboro, KY in about 1955. This revolver shows full scroll engraving with elaborate gold inlays in high relief, with gold borders; left top of frame by breech shows portrait of head of Jupiter, running bear onthe left side of the frame, mythological dragon on the right side of the frame, Centaur shooting arrow on the right bottom of the frame, and boars head by the right of the breech. The revolver shows 100% of therestored finish applied at the time of engraving with fine to nearly excellent original grips and fine to excellent bore. The action is crisp, the markings are sharp, and the revolver is fine to excellent asrefurbished. There is a facsimile signature on the butt of the revolver, “R.E. Carter”. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
