Smith & Wesson “Triple Lock” DA revolver, .44 S&W Special caliber, 4” barrel, King sights, old re-nickel finish, checkered wood medallion grips, S/N 2462, originally obtained from the family of William Swanwick Lot Title (1899-1991). According to the family, Swanwick joined the Navy in 1916 and reportedly sailed to China in the defending of American interests. He later became a Soldier of Fortune in Mexico, Central America Lot Title and South America. His extensive training and experience with firearms resulted in his later life support of the U.S. Olympic shooting team where he reportedly trained, traveled, judged and played a significant Lot Title role with the team, at his own expense. The gun is in overall good to very good condition as re-finished with a crisp action, good bore and very good grips.
