The Cook Inlet Region Inc (CIRI) has generously donated an access permit to CIRI's private property in the Western Alaska Range near Farewell, AK for the season opener for TWO Hunters and TWO Non-hunters. This is first time this coveted permit has been offered at auction anywhere! This private property block includes incredible sheep country in Unit 19C - where full-curl sheep may be harvested with an across-the-counter harvest ticket from the State of Alaska. Please note that non-resident hunters require a guide to hunt Dall sheep in Alaska. This permit will allow exclusive access for up to two hunters and two non-hunters to the Smith Lake Hunt Area, encompassing over 65 square miles of terrain. The permit is valid for the opening week of the 2018 hunt season, August 10th-20th. Contact CIRI to arrange for early access for scouting prior to the hunt. It gets even better! An additional generous donation from Joe Schuster at Sportsman's Air Service means your round trip flights from Anchorage, in a DeHavilland Beaver float plane are also included in this hunt. That round trip flight alone is worth $4500. Please note this is an access permit only - there are no facilities, and this is not a guided hunt. • All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on hunts and services. Unless otherwise indicated, all auction hunts and services must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
• It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits. Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
• AK WSF is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between for between the purchaser and donor.
• AK WSF has made every effort to ensure the quality of donated hunts and other services. However, AK WSF does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
• All donors must provide notice on the Hunt Donation Form of the number of days of duration and available time frame(s) agreed upon in the donation along with the opportunity to hunt/fish all species indicated in the donation. Hunt donations include any and all ancillary items or services as indicated in the Hunt Donation Form and confirm with the purchaser in the AK WSF auction sales receipt and Buyer’s Agreement.
• AK WSF does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
• A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
• The goods and services in the live auction are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of the AK WSF or WSF. AK WSF or WSF makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
• The high bidder acknowledges that AK WSF and WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can AK WSF or WSF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
• The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances in its entirety.
• These rules are hereby incorporated into the Live Auction purchase agreement sheets by reference. The winning bidder agrees to acknowledge and accept these rules and conditionals.
