Meet Calico! He is an amazing horse, with a one of a kind personality, great disposition and lots of good looks! I like him a alot!! Calico is a Gypsy/Frisian/Quarter Horse cross gelding! He is right in the prime of his life at 5 yrs old and stands a perfect height of 15.1 hands tall. He is a very talented horse and has been ridden both english and western and is also broke to drive single. He was used all last summer on a grazing permit in the Big Horn Mountains and it is hard to find anything on the mountain trail that he hasn't seen! He walks out with a nice paced walk on a loose rein and will go over and across anything you point him at. He will neck rein and be easy to maneuver through all kinds of terrain. Calico is also hobble broke and has been high lined. Calico loves cattle work and shows a lot of natural talent for that. He will be there for you all day pushing cattle on the ranch, and will pin his ears and track them around the arena as well. He has also had cattle roped and drug off him. He has also been ridden and driven along the highway and is traffic broke. He has also been used for flagging and roping colts in the arena and ponying colts on out side rides. This horse also rides great in the arena. He will pick his leads from a stand still and pick up a nice little lope. He is soft in the mouth and ribs and responds lightly to all cues. He has nice turn arounds and sidepasses, backs and stops with ease! You can carry flags on him, drag anything you want, flop your tarps and crack you bull whips, you name it! Calico also loves to play with and push the big bouncy ball around. Calico has been ridden by all levels of riders and is a very patient and forgiving type of horse. He has athletic ability and will really ride around nice and handy and be a lot of fun, but then yet be gentle, quiet, calm and easy to ride. He was the horse we choose to take care of Christinas sister all last summer in the mountains when she was visiting from Denmark. We never had to worry about her. Calico is a people loving horse. He is always the first to come up to you in the corral and the last to leave you when the other horses takes off. Always easy to catch and he has great ground manners. He is good to shoe, loves a bath, loads well, is a breeze to clip, good with other horses and is an over all joy to be around, have around and ride. Calico should make just about anybody a great friend and partner. I can't imagine anybody not liking him. He is absolutly willing in everything you ask him to do, and stunning to look at as well. Here is your chance to own a super nice draft cross gelding, with a long thick mane and tale, feathered legs, big bone and feet, lots of fancy color, in a manageable size and with a fantastic personality. I could keep writing about this horse all day, but instead, please give us a call anytime 307-752-8197 or come see us at the sale. I would love to tell you more about him! New updated sale video will be available on our website about a month prior to sale date, so please check that out. www.WyomingHorsesAndMules.net
