Custom German Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt action rifle, .257 Ackley Improved caliber, serial #2238L. The rifle is in good overall condition as customized. The rifle features a 22” barrel marked 257 ACK IMP with Germanproofs. The barrel and receiver retain the majority of an old, quality re-blue. The bolt handle has been replaced and the bolt has been engine turned. The smooth wood laminate stock is in very good condition with a California roll-over cheekpiece and exaggerated pistol grip. The butt stock ends with a ventilated rubber White Line recoil pad. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are legible. The rifle is toppedwith two-piece scope mounts and a Redfield Hunter 3 x 9 variable power scope. A nice custom Mauser in a great Ackley caliber. (Modern) Est.: $600-$1,200.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
