Custom stocked finish Sako Javelin Model 17 Javelin caliber bolt action rifle by master gunsmith N. Hultgren for his personal collection, S/N 36538. Hultgren began his career in the 1950’s and was known for hisbeautiful stocking and inlay work till his passing approximately a decade ago when Little Johns sold his collection for his estate. This rifle shows a 18” barrel and is 36 ½” overall made to a ladies dimensions. 13 ¼” to the end of the wood and 13 ¾” to the end of the pad. Balvar 2.5 x 8 scope on Leupold mounts for factory rail. The stock is premium quality burled and birdseye maple showing excellent high relief oak leafcarving. Precise hand carved inlays in geometric and animal scenes. Few stock makers could replicate this work at any price condition is fine to excellent as refurbished at time of customization. The rubber pad isaging and should be replaced. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
