Late 18th to early 19th century flintlock pistol assembled for parts with what appears to be an American stock and lock. The pistol measures 14” overall with a 7” barrel with British proofs from what may have been amilitary barrel and now about .67 caliber. The lock plate is flat with no bevels or contours and has an American look to hammer. The trigger guard and side plate are British style with lazy S side plate. The Ferrellplacement is odd whereas the thimble is half distance to muzzle and ramrod goes into wood. Plain walnut varnished stock in good condition. Small nicks and mars. The stock is overall good condition and may well beAmerican walnut and should be tested. A nice untouched and “Out of the attic” appearance. (Antique) Est.: $800-$1600
