Mauser Zig-Zag automatic revolving carbine, S/N 51 showing Waffenbrik Mauser Oberndorf/Neckar address stamped on the rear flat of the barrel. 18 ½” half-round/half-octagon barrel and 34 ½”overall. 11mm rifled bore and 6 shot cylinder. The carbine retains 75%-85% original blue that is thinning and toning naturally. Some minor erosion and normal aging just starting. Some light and minorscratches but generally very good plus metal surfaces. The stocks are also very good plus to almost fine with almost all original finish and light handling and storage only. The Mauser hard rubber butt plate is almostpristine. The action work impeccably and the bore is bright. Original sights and sling swivels. A very rare antique that fits into automatic, revolver and oddity categories of collecting. (C&R) Est.: $20,000-$40,000
