This is a 7-DAY HUNT for ONE (1) HUNTER AND ONE (1) OBSERVER, TROPHY FEES INCLUDED ARE FOR ONE (1) CROCODILE. The Chawalo hunting concession features over 71 miles of river frontage on both the Luanga and Zambezi rivers and spans some 880,000 acres. This is prime crocodile country, where they are plentiful and the quality is exceptional. 14-foot crocodiles are common. You can upgrade for extra days ($750/day), hunters ($1800/day) and/or observers ($275/day), as well as other game for the listed rates when you take your hunt, good in 2019. Game management efforts over many years are bearing fruit with plentiful, exceptional quality plains game like kudu, chobe bushbuck, roan antelope (not on quota), reedbuck, impala, hyena, warthog, bushpig, Sharps grysbok, leopard, lion, buffalo and elephant are also found on Chawalo’s hunting area and depending on available quotas it may be possible to upgrade our hunt to include one of these premium trophies. The lodge is built on a bank of the Zambezi, with a rare view of the river and the valley stretching upstream for about 30 km. Accommodation is in traditional thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms and beds are equipped with mosquito nets. Nine chalets are available and the swimming pool offers a welcome respite in the warmer months, where visitors can cool down, relax and enjoy the magnificent view. Meals and drinks are enjoyed at the central dining room or around the fire. All game collected is utilized in the kitchen and the cook will prepare delicacies like hippo stew and elephant pies. Sodas, red and white wine and local Mozambique and Zambian beers are included. Specialties can be prepared by prior arrangement. Includes: PH and daily rates for seven (7) days, trophy fees for one (1) crocodile, field prep and transportation to local taxidermist, lodging, meals and drinks (including beer and wine).
