Oberndorf Mauser Model Gewehr 98 bolt action rifle, 8mm Mauser caliber, serial #4899B. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 29” barrel. The barrel features a post front and curved military tangent style rearsights with a muzzle protector attached. The barrel and receiver retain a significant amount of their military finish showing wear, use and light surface rust. The front ring is Oberndorf marked, has several militaryproofs including a crescent moon and is dated 1918. The smooth wood stock is in good condition showing moderate use with mars and compressions. The butt stock has several cartouches and ends with a smooth steel buttplate. The bore is fair, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this World War I era Mauser. (C+R) Est.: $350-$700.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
