Seven Day Alaska Spring Grizzly & Black Bear Bear Hunt Over Bait
Join Alaska Hunting Adventures for this unique hunt in the Mentasta Mountains in the Eastern Alaska Range near the famous Tok Management Area. This is a golden opportunity to take a grizzly and black bear at close range. Hunt with guides/outfitters Matt Snyder, his folks Sue and Frank Entsminger and crew. This hunt must be scheduled for late May or June 2018 and cannot be delayed. Purchaser can bring a child or family member to hunt the black bear. Tags and license for the family member are required. All bears must be sealed before leaving Alaska and the meat must be salvaged. We assist in these arrangements and can help you if you wish to take the meat home. We have an agreement with the local Native Village of Mentasta to provide a portion of the meat from your trophy to the village council. Hunting license of $160, tag fee of $1,000 (grizzly) and tag fee of $450 (black bear) for non-resident hunters are not included but are required. Additional hunters are welcome for $12,000 for grizzly only or $14,000 for grizzly and black bear. Additional non-hunters are welcome for $2,000. The hunt price includes all accommodations and transportation from base camp, $100 land use fee, $150 membership Non-Resident Hunter Preservation Fund and field skinning. Not included: transpiration to and from Mile 91 of the Tok Cutoff via rental vehicle or by bus from Anchorage or Fairbanks, and taxidermy skinning for each bear. Our experienced taxidermist can provide proper fleshing services after the hunt for $250-$650 depending on the size of the bear or hunter can transport frozen hides to their personal taxidermist.
