South Africa: Steyn Potgieter of ESP Safaris is donating a 5-day Crocodile Safari for two hunters, which includes the trophy fee for one crocodile. Join Steyn and his team at ESP Safari in the Sekombo concession, located along the Limpopo river (bordering the country of Botswana) for five days of scouting the sandbanks and shore for a trophy Nile Crocodile. The Nile crocodile is the largest crocodilian in Africa, and can live to be over 100 years old. The adult male crocodile can measure from 11 to 15 feet long and typically weigh between 500-1100 pounds; however, large males can push the scale up to 1700 pounds. This safari includes 5 days of hunting, accommodation, all meals, drinks, daily laundry service, 2x1 PH & Staff, field preparation of trophies, all permits and the trophy fee for one crocodile. Not included in the donation are extra day fees, additional trophy fees, tips and gratuities, airport transfer of $300 per person, taxidermist charges, crating, shipping of trophies, lodge/ hotel accommodations before and after the safari, and VAT taxes. Each hunter can have the option of taking additional trophies and adding hunting days. Please refer to the 2018 ESP Safaris price list for available species list and trophy fees. The hunter day rate is $350 per day. Observers are welcome, and the non-hunter day rate is $250 per day. The hunt is good for any available dates in 2018 or 2019.
