U.S. Springfield Trapdoor rifle, .45-70 caliber, 32.5” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, S/N 453645, in overall very good condition showing considerable original blue on barrel and lockplate with lots of original case colors on the “trapdoor”. The bore is good +, the action crisp and the markings are sharp. The stock is good with some scattered storage and carry marks, dings and scraps; good circle P proof and inspector’scartouche. (Antique). Est.: $400-$800.
