BECEITE IBEX
TORTOSA – BECEITE This is one of the most beautiful corners of Spain, notable for the striking contrasts of its rugged mountain terrain and the neatly tended fields and orchards of its unspoiled valleys. The massif forming the Puertos de Beceite constitutes a kind of bridge between the Sistema lbérico and the Prelitoral mountains of Catalunya. The range starts south-west of the Ebro and continues inland in a chain of calcareous peaks that rise from the Tossal d‘En Grilló (1,076 m/3,530 ft) to Encanadé (1,396 m/4,579 ft). Beceite includes portions of three provinces ¬ Tarragona, Castellón and Teruel ¬ and takes its name from the little fruit-growing village of Beceite, the last in the Teruel province. The Tossal dels Tres Reis (1,356 m/4,450 ft) rises at the meeting point of the three regions, near Fredes on the road to Los Puertos. According to legend, the three kings of Catalunya, Aragón and València used to arrange meetings here in days of old, each standin. The Tortosa-Beceite mountains range is the home for the biggest of the subspecies of Spanish Ibex.. The mountains are located very close to the sea, meaning that the climate is very mild, but the landscape is rough and rugged ¬ an excellent scenery to enjoy hunt in its pure state.
DESCRIPTION This is the largest and darkest type with the largest horns. Typically, the horns are straighter than in Gredos ibex and have a spiral turn of less than 180 degrees. Horn thickness remains constant for half the length, then decreases toward the tip, which is not as thin as in the Gredos race. While this is the typical Beceite horn conformation, other horn shapes may be found in this region and even in the same herd.

Shipping arrangements and payments are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Shipping available nationwide and Canada. DSCNM assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No merchandise items will be shipped until DSCNM receives confirmation of full payment. Merchandise will be shipped within thirty (30) days after auction closes and payment confirmation is verified.
Payment Details:
All sales are final. No returns will be accepted. Winning bidder authorizes DSCNM to charge their credit card for the full amount of the winning bid plus buyers premium upon close of the auction. Payments will not be accepted from any third parties outside of a successful qualified bidder nor may the responsibility for any transaction be transferred to a third party. DSCNM accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, Amex or Wire Transfer. Buyer Assumes all fees associated with a wire transfer.
Accepted Payment Methods:
The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC New Mexico will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC New Mexico may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium of 5% on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. DSC New Mexico reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. DSC New Mexico reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. All items sold through DSC New Mexico are received from third party vendors. GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by DSC New Mexico, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC New Mexico. DSC New Mexico will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSC New Mexico`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSC New Mexico does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. DSC New Mexico may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. Any hunt, fishing trip or membership purchased in this auction cannot be sold, raffled or bartered without the written consent of DSCNM.
