Kalahari - Douglas Safari Area operates various hunting areas across South Africa providing us with flexibility to meet different client needs. This allows us to tailor your safari to ensure the optimum experience, best fit and maximum time in the veld –“Live the African Legacy!” They are offering the lucky bid winner a seven-day safari for two hunters that includes a Blue Wildebeest, a Red Hartebeest, a Blesbok, a Common Springbuck, a Warthog and $1,000 Taxidermy credit from Spitting Image Taxidermy (hunters to share). Hunt may be taken in 2022 or 2023.

Our Southern Kalahari – Douglas hunting area is in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa with the Kalahari Desert to the North, the Great Karoo to the South, 50 miles west of Kimberley, the “Diamond City”. Their 11,000-acre hunting area is located in close proximity of the confluence of the Orange and Vaal rivers, the two largest rivers in South Africa - far from hustle and bustle. This Pristine Area will allow you to take a step back in time and explore the historical hunting grounds of the past. This semi-arid region varies and has habitats and ecosystems that include Kalahari sand veld, savannah, and Northern Cape bushveld. A wide variety of wildlife, most species of plains game, are sustained in this vast landscape.

After a hard day’s hunting, you can retire to comfortable accommodations and enjoy a 5-star meal in comfort.
