South Africa - Royal Karoo – Ultimate Trip for Two Couples
Please review and understand all Preview Instructions and Terms and Conditions before you bid. No refunds of any kind!
Generally, outfitters do not allow back to back donation hunts, so even if the description is not explicit, do not buy more than one hunt per country! If you want to string together two or more hunts, you must gain the approval of all outfitters ahead of bidding.
There is an implicit stipulation that any donation is for new customers only. Check with your outfitter!
Rob Birch of Royal Karoo has put together the ultimate trip for two couples. It consists of seven full days of hunting, and four full days of touring the Garden Route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town for a total of 11 days and 11 nights. It consists of everything from pick up at Port Elizabeth to spending the last day in Cape Town.

This donation is all-inclusive and includes all transport, all accommodation, meals, table wine and sundowners, one PH (2x1), skinning and field preparation of trophies, local hunting license fees, and delivery of trophies to the taxidermist. Included in the package is a springbok grand slam of the four different subspecies, and two other animals (1 black wildebeest, 1 impala), all to be shared between the two hunters.

The trip is planned for 2020, but if the bidder wants to use it in 2021, Rob is asking that he be kept whole by the bidder for any increase from 2020 to 2021 in his external costs of hotels for the trip to Cape Town.

It excludes air travel from North America to Port Elizabeth and return from Cape Town, taxidermy costs, the export of trophies to North America, and staff gratuities. The trip can be extended at $375/day for hunters and $200/day for non-hunters. If the trip to Cape Town is to be extended, the cost would be $500/day/person, all in $US. There is also lots of plains game that can be added to the trip.

Royal Karoo Safaris is situated in the mountain country of the Eastern Cape, where the Great Karoo meets Valley Bushveld, resulting in the highest population density of Eastern Cape kudu in South Africa and so offering excellent walk and stalk hunting in this challenging setting. A wide variety of Plains and Bushveld game species are offered in their natural habitat with the region being rated as having the best kudu hunting in Africa.
