Smith Saddle Ring breech loading percussion carbine, .50 caliber, Serial #9699. The carbine is in good overall condition with a 21 ½” octagon to round barrel. The barrel has gone to a plum brown patina with wear atthe muzzle. The receiver retains areas of toned case hardening with the saddle ring intact and all matching visible serial numbers. The carbine features all iron hardware, barrel band, trigger guard and butt plate. The smooth wood stock is in good condition showing moderate wear with small mars and compressions and a nice cartouche behind the tang on the left side. The bore in good, the action is crisp and themarkings are sharp on this desirable Civil War era saddle ring carbine. Est.: $750-$1,500. (Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
