Unusual Model 1941 Portuguese Mauser bolt action rifle, 7 x 57mm caliber, 24” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, nazi-marked, no import markings visible, S/N H13524, with leather sling; overall very good to near fine condition with near fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings and very good stock; with document from consignor that includes “The M1941 contract was signed July 15, 1941 for 50,000 rifles, to be delivered in 10 batchesof 5,000. But serial numbering had some problems. The first 4 batches had consecutive numbers, but after 23,000 rifles, the Germans made an emergency requisition that interrupts the serial number sequence.The remaining batches are delivered with serial numbers from F to I, and only H batch would have complete and consecutive numbers. This particular rifle went to Portugal rather than being held by the Germans”. (C&R). Est.: $400-$800+.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
