Once again our Beer & Deer Guy, Kent Robinson (aka SCI Houston Membership Chair), has put together a great hunting package with lots of goodies. All of the proceeds from this fantastic four-part hunting (Texas and Africa) and merchandise package benefits our own SCI Houston Heroes Outdoors.
First, Carol and Kerry O’day have added this firearm to the package that will make your collection the envy of your friends! A Remington 308 action fitted with a 24” stainless steel matte black barrel and Timney trigger (adjusted to 1.5 lbs.). It is fitted with a tactical stock painted in Viet Nam “Tiger Stripe” camo and comes with one box of custom ammunition. This rifle is similar to the Viet Nam issue M-40 AI sniper rifle used by two of our most celebrated heroes Carlos Hathcock and Chuck Mawhinney.
Second, travel to Africa for a MT CARMEL NINE (9) DAY (SEVEN HUNTING DAYS PLUS ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE DAY) SAFARI FOR THREE (3) HUNTERS, PLUS TWO EXTRA DAYS YOU MAY USE FOR HUNTING, GOLFING, OR PHOTO SAFARIES; A TOTAL OF ELEVEN DAYS AND TEN NIGHTS for 2018-19. EACH HUNTER MAY CHOOSE TWO TROPHIES FROM THE FOLLOWING: SPRINGBUCK, BLESBUCK, FALLOW DEER, OSTRICH AND/OR COMMON DUIKER. Upgrade for additional species off the normal price list or add observers at a discounted price of $150/ea/day. Includes: day rates (7 actual hunting days), 3x1 PH services, trackers and staff, trophy and field prep, transportation to shipper, 10-night lodge accommodations, meals, Kimberley airport transfers. Not included: travel to RSA, upgrades, taxidermy, alcohol, tips and gratuities.
Third, another repeat donation comes from Chapter members Molly & Kent Klineburger, offering their KLINEBURGER ENTERPRISES TROPHY RESTORATION SERVICES: CLEANING, REPAIR AND TOUCH UP OF UP TO TEN (10) TROPHIES (HEAD MOUNTS) or FOUR (4) LIFE SIZE TROPHIES/RUGS. Protect your memories with this service, including insect control and pest inspection of all mounts and the entire trophy room structure. (Elephant, rhino or life-size giraffe trophies are exempt). This donation includes having additional trophies treated at 20% off, as 20% off trophy moving, hanging and appraisal services. The Klineburgers always make sure you get top value for the money spent maintaining your irreplaceable trophy memories. Many of our Chapter member can attest to the Klineburgers work, and every year Kent and Holly donate cleaning and repair of our Sensory Safari collection, working wonders!
And fourth, as if the preceding wasn’t enough, Kent has also received the following generous 100% donation from Adam Stanford of RTIC Coolers: RTIC 53-gun case, the RTIC Soft Pak cooler (heavy duty vinyl shell wrap can keep ice up to five days), and a premium RTIC duffel bag.
