Beautiful high relief engraved Merkel O/U shotgun, 12 gauge, 27.5” Krupp-marked barrels, blued finish to barrels, raised carved deluxe finely grained wood stocks, auto ejectors, double triggers, horn triggerguard and pistol grip cap with engraved, checkered skeleton steel butt plate, no visible S/N, in overall fine condition displaying the majority of its blued finish to the barrel assembly, fine Germanic stylefloral engraving to the receiver with three game scenes (both sides and bottom of receiver), corresponding floral engraving to breech end of barrels and finely accomplished raised floral carvings to the wrist area and forend of the wood stocks; crisp actions, bores have an old coating of grease for storage that should clean to at least good. Appears to be of pre-war construction. An outstanding deluxe Merkel that would be veryexpensive to replicate at today’s prices assuming you were patient enough to survive the sticker shock and wait to have a current day artisan perform this quality of engraving/carving. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
