Colt Single Action Army Sheriffs Model .44-40 cal., 3" barrel, fully and finely gold inlaid by Angelo Bee with marine ivory grips, serial #SA40506. The left side of the recoil shield shows Angelo Bee's stamped signature. The pistol is finely engraved in European scroll with flush gold inlaid borders and lettering, mountain lion or cougar on left side of recoil shield with rampant colt and patent dates also gold inlaid. The conditionis fine to excellent as refinished at time of engraving; the marine ivory grips are from a walrus tusk and show some age cracking and yellowing.
