U.S. M1 semi-auto carbine by Underwood, .30 caliber., 18” Underwood barrel dated 2-44 with the flaming bomb, military finish, wood stock , oiler with sling, no magazine, later sight, flat bolt, bayonet lug, serial#2203552. The smooth wood stock is in very good overall condition showing small compressions and storage marks with a checkered steel butt plate and a faint cross cannons cartouche on the butt stock. Thecarbine itself is in good overall condition showing considerable military finish with an import marked barrel. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable Underwood carbine. (C+R) Est.:$500-$1,000.
