The trees from which this tabletop is made grew on the banks
of the Letort Creek in Carlisle, PA which is home of the US
Army War College and Carlisle Barracks dating back to 1770.
The base of the table has additional historical significance.
The Pin Oak wood was salvaged from the site of
Headquarters 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army
National Guard which is the oldest and longest continuously
serving Division in the United States Army.
