Founded in 1972, Safari Club International is a worldwide conservation organization that promotes wildlife conservation and education, provides services for people in need, and functions as an advocate for hunters and hunting. With more than 50,000 members and 190 chapters in 103 countries, SCI accomplishes its mission around the globe.
The Louisiana Chapter was founded in 1976 and represents members around the State in the Southern US.
