Mission Statement

The Shepherds of Wildlife Society™ Inc., an international 501(c)(3) tax-exempt not-for-profit organization, is formed for the purpose of developing educational and motivational materials to support wildlife protection and habitat sustainability.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to attract, engage and support leading outdoor filmmakers and photographers in the planning, development, and use of high-impact educational and motivational materials for hunters, teachers, children, politicians and other decision-makers, and for the general public advocating wildlife protection and habitat sustainability.

Goals

To support and increase public awareness of the value of wildlife and habitat protection.

To develop high-impact educational and motivational films for maximum exposure to target audiences.

To share high-quality materials with individuals, organizations, and groups that educate and advocate wildlife conservation and environmental protection.

Welcome to the South Africa Outfitters Group. Our group originated in 2014 as a communication network among a select group of outfitters and has evolved into a cohesive group of active hunting outfitters dedicated to sharing knowledge within the industry.

Membership in the South Africa Outfitters Group follows a unique structure. Entry is not open to everyone; instead, new members must be recommended by an existing member and seconded by an additional member, ensuring recognition by industry peers.

The South Africa Outfitters Group boasts a membership of over 250+ members in Southern Africa comprising of mostly Outfitters/Professional Hunters.

SCI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife, education of
the people, and the protection of hunters’ rights.
All of the proceeds will be used to support local, state and national conservation,
education and pro-hunting governmental affairs programs.

Beginning in the mid 1970s, the threat to our outdoor heritage became so great that a group of business leaders took it upon themselves to organize sportsmen to fight to protect hunting, fishing and trapping opportunities across the country.

What started as the defense of an Ohio trapping issue in 1977 with national implications, soon evolved into the country’s leading advocate for sportsmen across the country — The Sportsmen’s Alliance and the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation.

For nearly four decades, the Sportsmen’s Alliance has fought to protect and advance our outdoor heritage of hunting, fishing, trapping and shooting in all 50 state legislatures, in the courts, in Congress and at the ballot box. As Sportsmen’s Alliance’s work continues to grow stronger so too has the animal rights movement.

We provide fully guided hunts in British Columbia and Alberta for the following species: Big Horn Sheep, Rocky Mountain Goats, Trophy Elk, Trophy Mule deer, Trophy Moose, White tail, Black Bear, Cougar, Lynx and Wolf. The Texas Hill Country Chapter of Safari Club International is dedicated to sportsmen's interests in the Hill Country and around the world. The THCC has made donations and contributions to a variety of groups, organizations and individuals. These contributions support activities consistent with the goals of our Chapter. We have an ever-growing list of projects supporting humanitarian efforts, wildlife conservation and partnerships with other similar organizations.

The Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) celebrates 39 years of promoting effective habitat conservation and responsible hunting through private land stewardship at its annual convention, WildLife 2024 on July 11-14, in San Antonio. Wildlife enthusiasts from across Texas will come together for three days of fun, education, and top-notch networking. Each year more than 1,500 people attend this premier event. The annual convention, touted as one of the “family- friendliest parties in Texas,” is hosted at the beautiful JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa.
