Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula Chapter of Safari Club International 24th Annual Midnight Sun Fund Raiser and Banquet – Funds raised will help us continue to fund wildlife conservation projects and represent the interests of hunters.

We dedicate thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours to these causes with a just a volunteer staff every year. We believe that our youth hold the future of hunting in their hands and that it is our obligation as hunters, not our option, to teach these young people how enjoyable, character building, and essential hunting is to wildlife management.

WE ARE FIERCE ADVOCATES FOR CANADIAN HUNTERS AND HAVE TAKEN THE ANTI-HUNTERS TO COURT TO CURTAIL THEIR RHETORIC AND ACTIONS AGAINST HUNTERS, ANGLERS AND TRAPPERS. WE WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THE ANTIS WITH OUR UNITED HUNTERS FUND AND EYE ON THE ANTIS CAMPAIGNS.

The Allegheny Mts. Chapter of SCI is an organization of dedicated individuals working to promote youth hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities right here in Central Pennsylvania. Our mission is to utilize our time, funds and talents to give as many of our area youth as possible a chance to enjoy the great outdoors around them. Whether it is a kid’s fishing derby, a youth bird hunt, or a wish hunt for a youth hunter with a disability, the Allegheny Mountains Chapter of SCI is there with the support needed to make it happen. Now in our 18th year, our chapter has been able to help many, many youth experience their own adventures, and with your continued support will keep on doing just that.

The Arizona Chapter of the Safari Club International (AZSCI) has been promoting wildlife conservation and protecting hunter’s rights for 47 years. We are Southern Arizona’s leading organization in hunter education courses, junior hunting camps and various conservation projects around Arizona. The AZSCI has funded and provided volunteers for eight water catchments in region 5 of the state as well several annual desert clean ups. With a board of 12 hunters the AZSCI has been able to maintain an extensive partnership with the Arizona Game and Fish Department, furthering our abilities to promote hunter education and safety.

The AZSCI headquarters are located in Tucson, AZ, which is home to the Safari Club International and the International Wildlife Museum. The chapter’s current membership is at 205 members and steadily growing. The chapter produces an annual banquet for our members, prospective members and sponsors at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort located in the foothills of Tucson. Our five year partnership with Team Shockey and the annual Jim Shockey Golf Tournament has given us opportunity to aid his Wounded Warrior project and further our capabilities to aid in our mission to protect and educate hunters and conserve our beautiful state.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization under the indirect oversight of Safari Club International. We exist to serve the interests of hunters and hunting in the state of Arkansas. Our primary work is anchored to advocacy, conservation (habitat and wildlife), and education. We were incorporated in Arkansas 36 years ago. In addition, we are governed by a board and have 69 members. We are financially sound and growing. Like most SCI Chapters, we have one primary fundraiser per year that includes a live auction. Protecting hunters' rights and promoting wildlife conservation, SCI's two areas of focus, historically has been the interest of hundreds of individuals long before SCI was established. But how did SCI as an organization begin?
Forty years ago, there were many safari clubs across the country made up of local, unaffiliated groups of hunters. One such was Safari Club of Los Angeles, which was formed in April 1971 by forty-seven individuals. In early 1972, an out-of-towner from a similar club in Chicago attended one of the monthly Wednesday night meetings, and it was decided that the L.A. club should attempt to combine with the one in Chicago to make it an affiliated chapter. The founder of Safari Club of Los Angeles, C.J. McElroy, went to the Windy City and instituted the new chapter.
Eleven months after the formation of Safari Club of Los Angeles, on March 9, 1972, the name was changed officially to Safari Club International. SCI continued to reach out to other independent safari clubs throughout the United States in an effort to combine them into a single overall organization.
Today, interest in SCI's two primary missions has grown a worldwide network. Subsequent involvement and promotion of these missions is rooted in each of our 55,000 members, supported through each of our 190 membership chapters found across the globe, and put into action by government representatives and personnel both nationally and internationally.
In this way, we can encourage an appreciation for nature and wildlife so that conservation efforts remain strong, while also fighting to protect our rich hunting heritage. Big changes can be achieved through the endeavors of many who are united in a mission – the mission of Safari Club International.

MISSION STATEMENT

To promote good fellowship among all who love the outdoors and hunting.

To promote conservation of the world’s renewable wildlife resources, recognizing hunting as one of the many management tools.

To educate youth, sportsmen, and the public in conservation of our wildlife and our forest, which is our natural heritage.

To share our knowledge and hunting experiences among all our membership.

Safari Club International, a world leader in conservation and advocacy for hunter’s rights, had a presence in all but 5 states in the country. New Jersey was one of those states. In 2024, a group of dedicated hunters formed a board and applied for a charter. The Garden State Chapter was founded in the fall of that year. Under the leadership and direction of the inaugural board, the Garden State Chapter of Safari Club International was born. The main objectives of the Garden State Chapter are to support hunter’s rights, and to show the local community how important hunters are to land conservation and the preservation of wildlife.

The Greater Dacotah Chapter (GDC) supports SCI’s efforts to protect hunting around the world, and fulfill countless conservation, educational, and humanitarian projects that make a difference.
The Greater Dacotah Chapter is a strong advocate of the North American Model of Conservation!
Over the past 19 years GDC has provided over $1,246,000 in funding for conservation and hunter advocacy both in South Dakota and worldwide!
GDC has consistently held Chapter of the Year status because of our outreach efforts for hunters, conservation, humanitarian, youth hunting adventures and education, Safari Care, Sportsmen Against Hunger 1-million-mark, Wounded Warrior, shooting range development, and wildlife law enforcement efforts!
The Greater Dacotah Chapter’s mission & vision is consistent with SCI and SCIF to protect the freedom to hunt and promote wildlife conservation through involvement with state and federal wildlife agencies in North America and the Global network.

The Iowa Chapter of Safari Club International will hold its annual fundraiser on June 26, 2021 in Clive, Iowa. The event is held at Horizon Events Center and the doors open at 2:00 CST and the event should conclude approx. 10:00 CST. We will feature many quality hunts and adventures from around the world which will be on the auction block that evening. The chapter has a rich history with many of the donors and some chapter members have been to many of the featured experiences. The proceeds from the auction benefit three main avenues, which include conservation, humanitarian, and education issues. The chapter has been active locally as well as internationally by supporting a sensory trailer that appears at events around the state, sponsoring a “Jack Hagens Great Buffalo Giveaway” that provides ground bison and pork for the food insecure of Iowa, sponsoring the National Archery in the Schools Program, Scholastic Clay Target Program, Public Service Messages to encourage mentoring of more hunters, land acquisition, as well as programs within SCI.

The Kansas City Chapter of SCI (KC-SCI) was established more than 36 years ago and is extremely active in local conservation and educational projects within Kansas and Missouri. Each January or February, KC-SCI hosts one of the largest Hunters Banquet & Auction in Missouri. What really places this Banquet in a class of it’s own is that 70% of the proceeds remain in Kansas and Missouri to be used for local projects as determined by our members.

In 1977, after hearing about a new organization called Safari Club
International, a small group of hunters from Lehigh Valley decided to
form a local chapter. With the leadership and direction of the founding
President, Cook Schiavone, the Lehigh Valley Chapter of Safari Club
International was born. Their main objectives were to support hunter's
rights and show the local community how important hunters are to the
preservation of wild animals.

By 1993 membership had hit in excess of 300 and was still growing.
The Lehigh Valley Chapters' accomplishments were climbing and we
became well known and supported in the surrounding community.

Membership had grown to well over 600 by the end of 2002. We have
partnered with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, as well as with
many other organizations, helping to fund new projects such as
purchasing new hunting properties, helping to make the elk
management and hunting program a reality, feeding the hungry by
supplying much needed harvested meat to many food banks and many
other projects in a list too long to mention here.

We are proud to say the Lehigh Valley Chapter is still growing. If you
are a resident of the Lehigh Valley, and surrounding area, and have a
passion for hunting and the outdoors, why not make a difference in
your community and join us?

WE Support the mission of SCI through local activities which serve local interests and needs, emphasizing safety, humanitarian efforts, youth activities, and hunters rights.

Lewis and Clark Chapter of the Safari Club International is the local interest chapter of Safari Club International and is headquartered in and around the Vancouver, Washington , and Portland, Oregon area.

Lewis and Clark Safari Club International has an established Sportsmen Against Hunger program, has organized a group of dedicated certified hunter safety instructors conducting multiple classes, joined in a partnership to restore the Columbia Whitetail deer to Native American tribal lands, published an SCI National award winning newsletter, and successfully raised funds with three annual fundraising banquets.

Further, through membership in Washingtonians for Wildlife Conservation, and Hunter's Heritage Council, we have joined with like minded organizations to work at the state lawmaking level to preserve hunters' rights. Our membership is now approaching 200 people and it continues to grow every year.

Safari Club International Louisiana Chapter was founded in 1976 to represent the state. Since its founding, the Chapter has supported numerous conservation projects in the state and has been a consistent advocate for ethical hunting and conservation at home and abroad.

To conserve wildlife & wilderness lands; to educate youth and the general public, to promote and protect the rights as well as interests of hunters in the West Texas areas & worldwide.

SCI Manitoba is made up of a group of individuals who have come together to promote and protect the rights of hunters and wildlife conservation at a worldwide level. This was the motivation to start the Manitoba Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI)

SCI Manitoba has a dedicated group of individuals who volunteer their time serving on the board representing the SCI membership by working collaboratively with other like-minded Manitoba organizations promoting our hunting heritage.

Safari Club International (SCI) Miami Chapter is a South Florida extension of Safari Club International, an organization devoted to the protection of hunting rights worldwide. SCI Miami Chapter was formed in December 1997. For 2021, our annual fundraising event will be entirely online. We look forward to sharing some exciting hunts for everyone to bid on today!

The Michigan Chapter of Safari Club was only the third chapter to form in 1973, when the international organization began. The Michigan Chapter is one of the largest chapters in the world, and proudly acknowledges four International Presidents who originated from our fraternity.

Our Chapter consistently invests over $100,000.00 per year in local hunting and wildlife programs. Through donations to Safari Club International, the Michigan Chapter is credited with assisting many significant projects nationwide and abroad.

As a very proactive chapter, the Safari Club Michigan Chapter is dedicated to the conservation of wildlife, education and protection of hunters' rights and are proud to be the recipient of International's 2003 Diamond Conservation Award.

Conservation of wildlife and protection of the hunter. We find no irony in this because we believe that conservation and hunting are not only compatible, but inseparable.

We believe that habitat and wildlife must be kept in balance, and we believe that wisely managed hunting is one of the best ways to accomplish this. Professional wildlife managers have shown us over and over again that total protection often is not conservation. There simply are too many examples of what happens when species are allowed to exceed levels that space and food supplies can support.

The right to pursue wild game has been handed down to us through the centuries, and we intend to protect this cherished heritage. But when a species is threatened because of habitat loss, political neglect or a natural disaster, Safari Club International steps in with money and effort.

SCI members are proud to be helping preserve wildlife species through our hunting fees and our financial and political support for professional wildlife management. We believe a species is best served when local people realize conserving the species provides them immediate and long term economic rewards.

Our Cause

Northern Michigan Regional Chapter of Safari Club International is a 501 C (4) tax exempt organization. The Chapter was chartered by Safari Club International in 1998. The Chapter operates with a volunteer staff – there are no paid employees. The Chapter is based in Alpena, Michigan but the Chapter’s membership list includes individuals from locations all over northern Michigan, a number of states within the US, seven Canadian Provinces, Mexico, New Zealand and South Africa.

The Northeast Michigan Chapter has four primary project focuses: Safari Wish - designed for young people who are critically ill and/or who are challenged physically or mentally; Michigan Heroes – designed to provide a hunting experience for active duty service men and women who have been deployed to the Middle East; Sportsmen Against Hunger – designed to provided processed wild game to homeless and/or economically disadvantaged individuals in northern Michigan; and, educational programs designed to expose young people to the out-of-doors and to teach them about the role that hunting plays in wildlife conservation. All Chapter activities are currently funded with resources generated by the Chapter’s annual auction/banquets and donations from Chapter members.

“Into the Wild” will be the 14th annual banquet/auction of the Northeast Michigan Chapter – Safari Club International. “Into the Wild” is scheduled for March 2 and 3, 2012 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa near Traverse City, Michigan. Safari Club International - Orange County

Phoenix Chapter of Safari Club International. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, has been in existence for 31 years.

Protecting hunters’ rights and promoting wildlife conservation, SCI’s two areas of focus, historically has been the interest of hundreds of individuals long before SCI was established. But how did SCI as an organization begin?

Forty years ago, there were many safari clubs across the country made up of local, unaffiliated groups of hunters. One such was Safari Club of Los Angeles, which was formed in April 1971 by forty-seven individuals. In early 1972, an out-of-towner from a similar club in Chicago attended one of the monthly Wednesday night meetings, and it was decided that the L.A. club should attempt to combine with the one in Chicago to make it an affiliated chapter. The founder of Safari Club of Los Angeles, C.J. McElroy, went to the Windy City and instituted the new chapter.

Eleven months after the formation of Safari Club of Los Angeles, on March 9, 1972, the name was changed officially to Safari Club International. SCI continued to reach out to other independent safari clubs throughout the United States in an effort to combine them into a single overall organization.

Today, interest in SCI’s two primary missions has grown a worldwide network. Subsequent involvement and promotion of these missions is rooted in each of our 55,000 members, supported through each of our 190 membership chapters found across the globe, and put into action by government representatives and personnel both nationally and internationally.

In this way, we can encourage an appreciation for nature and wildlife so that conservation efforts remain strong, while also fighting to protect our rich hunting heritage. Big changes can be achieved through the endeavors of many who are united in a mission – the mission of Safari Club International.

Redding Regional Chapter of Safari Club International

Today, more than ever, our conservation and hunting interests must be protected. Most Californians know there have been serious losses of habitat for wildlife and reductions of wildlife populations. We have joined together because we share the same desire to preserve wildlife, promote conservation education and protect hunting interests for today and for the generations to come.

Every year with your help, the San Diego Chapter SCI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization raises funds for wildlife conservation, wildlife studies, habitat acquisition, public education, humanitarian projects, youth hunts, and preserving our right to hunt.

Sask Rivers Chapter is located in central Saskatchewan. As part of Safari Club International we are dedicated in doing our part in promoting Wildlife Conservation Worldwide, educating our youth to be responsible hunters and to continue to fight for our right to hunt. The proceeds from this auction will be donated to many youth clubs to help with their programs. This year is our 13th Anniversary and it is only with the support of our hunt donors and members that makes this all possible.

Welcome to the Teddy Roosevelt SCI Chapter of central North Dakota! Where our
passion for youth opportunities, veterans appreciation, and overall gun rights dates long
before any of us were born, it’s in our DNA.

Our mission is to support local youth, veteran, and many other outdoor organizations
that support conservation, opportunity, and gun rights so the opportunity to hunt and the
wildlife is around for future generations to enjoy. With all the laws and Antihunters out
there we feel this very important want to make the Teddy Roosevelt chapter a voice,
and advocate in the outdoors for generations to come!

We were started by a few key elder individuals, who got together and over a couple
months brought 10 more people ranging from college graduates to middle aged dye
hard outdoorsmen, and even a few females to our board meetings to cast a wide variety
of idea’s and influence to what we feel is a very healthy, broad spoken group. We have
already had involvement in some youth activites, and are preparing for a couple
upcoming veterans events! Bismarck is host to a large veteran community, and has a
youth trap league currently surpassing 300 youth members! Your support of our auction
will go directly to those who have served for our freedom, and those who will carry this
torch into the next decade!

The Northwoods Chapter of Safari Club International is made up of men and women who care about hunting and live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin.

SCI Treasure Valley will participate in legislative, judicial, regulatory, public relations or other advocacy activities, including humanitarian activities that demonstrate the constructive role of hunters in society, in order to protect the freedom to hunt and to advocate hunting and hunters. We will provide a channel for organized efforts to promote a public understanding and acceptance of sport hunting as an effective tool for wildlife conservation and management. Additionally, we will engage and participate in projects for the conservation of wildlife, on either a local, regional, national or international scale, including wildlife research, wildlife management or other projects that assist in the collection and dissemination of information on wildlife populations. Safari Club International (SCI) is a global organization facilitating humanitarian services, youth education, conservation, and defending our hunting heritage. West Michigan Bowhunters is a chapter of Safari Club International (SCI). Our chapter was founded in 1989 and our annual fundraiser consistently draws 350+ conservationists in attendance. We are committed to protecting hunters’ rights and promoting wildlife conservation efforts.
