Recognizing the importance of hunting heritage and cultural values in Canada, IHEA Canada will foster a collaborative educational network that sets the foundation for a safe, respectful and responsible hunting community for today and tomorrow.
The IHEA Canada Board consists of 15 Hunter Education professionals from across Canada. One administrative representative from each of the Provinces and Territories and two Instructor representatives (one each from Eastern and Western Canada) meet on a regular basis to discuss standards, best practices, and new developments in Canadian Hunter Education with the goal of improving and enriching programming nationwide.
IHEA Canada supports the development and enrichment of Hunter Education programming throughout the country by providing a forum for sharing ideas, resources, and successes. The Association also provides current and accurate information regarding Hunter Education to Canadians who are interested in hunting, and for those who come to Canada to hunt

Iowa FNAWS is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to putting Bighorn Sheep back on the mountain. To date Iowa FNAWS has provided approximately $2 million in projects to “Keep sheep on the mountain"! This year marks our 40th Anniversary. Bowhunting is the primary interest of the membership and the ultimate aim is the
proper harvest of wild game with a bow and arrow in a humane and sportsmanlike
manner.
The KBA stands for the wise use of our natural resources and the conservation of our
wild game and their habitats. With this is mind, the KBA does not hold to the theory
that everyone can or should be a bowhunter. Quite the contrary, the KBA stipulates
that only persons who are willing to put forth the effort to assure that the sport will
be undertaken in a humane, sportsmanlike manner should attempt to harvest game
with a bow and arrow.
The impetus of the KBA has been directed not to the taking of large numbers of game
animals, but rather toward the taking of game in an ethical, humane manner… a
manner which enhances the hunter’s character, not his fame.
This website is dedicated to sharing the goals and achievements of the KBA with its
members, along with providing essential information about hunting in the great State
of Kansas.

Meet the Owner
My name is Melissa Richards. I was born and raised in Roosevelt, Utah. I am an avid
huntress, houndswoman, and outdoor enthusiast. To say I love the outdoors is an
understatement. I have hunted, fished, and camped my entire life, and I have
experienced just about everything out there. I fell in love with the idea of helping
other hunters and huntresses, kids, veterans and disabled people explore and
experience what I love. To me, hunting is so much more than merely killing
something; it’s the experience you have with family and friends that makes it so
memorable. From watching a Rocky Mountain sunrise, or witnessing something
special like being close to a bugling elk, or hearing coyotes howl in the morning, I am

eager to share my love of the outdoors and help others do the same. I would love to
share my enthusiasm and excitement of a great hunt with you all!
