1) BELGIAN ZULU SINGLE SHOT SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga. NSN. Bbl. 31 1/8". Belgian made Zulu shotgun mfg. from surplus military rifle parts w/ a swinging block single shot action. Bbl., receiver & breech block have Belgian proofs. Bbl. is marked over chamber w/ "A.F." & also marked on top "ZULU". Brass bead front sight. Walnut stock w/ 1 bbl. band. Ramrod channel has walnut filler block. CONDITION: stock has arsenal rework type finish w/ wear, staining & handling marks throughout. Stock has notably cracked area on left side behind breech block in area of escutcheon. Worn metal turning overall gray & patina. Dark bore w/ extensive pitting throughout. (01-19417/RW).
2) PRIZE PERCUSSION DOUBLE SHOTGUN BY G. HOFE(?) OF BRISTOL. Cal. 16 Ga. NSN. Bbl. 30" twist. 2 Steel bbls. fitted w/ Joseph Manton type "elevating rib". Front spring locks fitted w/ later serpentine hammers & engraved w/ feather borders surrounding well cut scroll & coiled sea monsters. Maker’s name & “BRISTOL” are on each plate. European walnut stock measures 14 1/4" over steel buttplate. Silver inscription plate at top of grip is engraved “Branch Rifle Assn Mil. Dist. Iiuc. "Prize by Fraser "Won by LIUT. C. PERRY." "1864" "11 POINTS SA. 200 YDS”. CONDITION: fair to poor. Metal dark brown patina. Wood w/ considerable wear, checkering almost gone. Dark pitted bores. Locks operable. (01-19418/MGM).
3) MEDIUM GRADE PARKER LIFTER SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga. S# 19219. Bbls. 30" damascus, marked on rib w/ Parker address. Lumps are marked w/ correct S# on side. Lifter type action has later style hinge pin, reinforced & radiused break off, but does not have doll's head extension. Action & locks have some scroll engraving. Fences are nicely sculpted & have starbursts on top. Rnd. knob pistol grip stock is fitted w/ Parker buttplate. Matching splinter forend has 1878 patent release. CONDITION: poor. Very little finish remaining on metal. Buttstock shattered through action area shows considerable wear. Bores pitted. Bbls. dented. Action still remarkably tight, but considerably off face. Locks are operable. (01-19419/MGM). ALL ANTIQUE. $450-900.
