2016 Horseback 1 on 1 guided 10 Day Alaska Yukon Moose Hunt in the Alaska Range south of Fairbanks and east of Denali Park. This area has consistently produced “Big Moose” with near 100% opportunity. Reasonable expectations of 57” to 63” bulls with many going 65” plus and many B&C gross. This will be our 18th year of operating in this area so we know it well. This is a spot and stalk hunt with a lot of time spent in the saddle and glassing the country. Some hunters hunt out of our comfortable camp and others spike out a considerable distance from base camp. Base is a wall tent type operation with all the amenities one would expect out of a 1st class camp, spike camp is more rugged, it is up to you and your physical needs. You will fly into Fairbanks and catch a charter to camp (approx. $900 R/T) and hunt from horses for the duration of the hunt. Moose tag and hunting license is $485 , caribou can be applied for in December if you wish and hunted on a trophy fee basis along with grizzly bear $4,500.00 each and wolves no charge. When hunt is purchased please contact Outfitter for hunt dates the season is Sept 1st – 25th. Value $18,500.00
