Special note: R&R Hunting & Outdoor Adventures, LLC, is owned and operated by Rob Jones Jr. Rob has been involved in Alaska's guiding industry for over 29 years and has been outfitting guided hunting trips since 1992.
R&R Hunting & Outdoor Adventures is based out of its lodge in the Revelation Mountains of the Alaska Range, about 160 miles west of Anchorage. Its primary business is providing fully guided big game hunts in Alaska’s Game Management Units 19-C and 19-D for Dall sheep, moose, and interior grizzly bears. Access to this area is by aircraft only, and Rob operates a Cessna 206 to transport clients, guides, supplies, fuel, and all gear and equipment from Anchorage to the lodge and back. Transport from the lodge to hunting areas is by Super Cub.
R&R guides are some of the most experienced and well-equipped guides in the business. They are very conscientious about having organized and clean spike camps, are very experienced hunters, have excellent trophy care skills, and are good-fun guys to be with during your hunt in Alaska. Dall sheep season is from August 10 through September 20. R&R’s hunting area runs along the southern boundaries of Denali National Park, then south through the Revelation Mountains.
Even in the mildest of sheep country, hunting sheep is physically and mentally challenging. Relocating from one area to another if necessary is not a problem and will incur no extra cost to the hunter. Single-species Dall sheep hunts last for 10 hunting days with a travel day on each end, totaling 12-13 days per hunt. For hunters that put in their fully-allotted time, the success rate is between 80% and 90%. In 2009, 2010, and 2011, R&R’s Dall sheep hunts were 100% successful.

Shipping arrangements and payments are to be made solely by the winning bidder with the shipper of their choice. CA WSF assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until CA WSF bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard item merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction. Any item not paid for or claimed after payment will be returned to CA WSF for disposition.

No item merchandise or information will be delivered to buyers until CA WSF bank confirms full payment has been received. All sales are final. NO RETURNS OF MERCHANDISE OR OTHER ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Bidders paying by credit card require prior approval. No payments will under any circumstances be accepted from any third party not being a successful qualified Bidder. The following provisions will apply to Bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Online Bidders must complete an online registration form and sign and return an authorization form, which will be emailed upon receipt of the application. A credit card must be provided to verify available funds up to anticipated amount they wish to bid (Bid Limit). Once all executed documents are received and approved, California Wild Sheep Foundation ("CA WSF") will enable online bidding.
2. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BID ON AN ITEM, THE ONLINE BIDDER MUST PLACE AN INITIAL BID ON THEIR DESIRED ITEM(S) BY 12PM APRIL 21, 2012. A PREAUTHORIZATION $1500 WILL BE REQUIRED UNTIL THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION.
3. The highest bidder’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount of each successful bid and the bidder will be furnished an immediate email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding phase. BIDDER AGREES THAT HE OR SHE WILL, WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF RECEIVING SAID ACKNOWLEDGMENT, SEND, BY REPLY EMAIL, CONFIRMATION OF THE BID AND AMOUNT. IF SAID CONFIRMATION IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN THE DESIGNATED TIMEFRAME, THE ITEM MAY BE RE-PLACED FOR AUCTION.
4. Online Bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. California Wild Sheep Foundation reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If Bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, Bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. California Wild Sheep Foundation reserves the right to terminate Bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict Bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. All items sold through California Wild Sheep Foundation fundraiser auction are received from third party vendors. GOODS: All goods in the auctions have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by CA WSF, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of CA WSF. CA WSF makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. CA WSF does not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design, or usage. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. SERVICES: All services, hunts or otherwise, in the auctions have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. The services in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of CA WSF. CA WSF makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. No services in the live auctions are to be or will be performed by CA WSF. CA WSF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, CA WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the confines of the United States, nor can CA WSF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for the services or merchandise acquired by the high bidder at the auction, CA WSF shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, cost of court and interest as provided by law.
9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. California Wild Sheep Foundation will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on California Wild Sheep Foundation `s or Bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a Bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. California Wild Sheep Foundation does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. California Wild Sheep Foundation may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. California Wild Sheep Foundation reserves the right to terminate Bidder registration and use of the online auction of any particular Bidder without notice to said Bidder or penalty.
