10-day British Columbia Moose and Wolf Hunt for One Hunter
One hunter will travel to British Columbia for this 10-day, 1x1 guided Western Canadian moose and wolf hunt, donated by Tahltan Outfitters. Method of take is rifle. Schedule hunt with outfitter for October 4-12, 2018 only. No alternate dates are available. Tahltan Outfitters' exclusive hunting concession is located on the pristine mountains of northern British Columbia and extends toward the Yukon border. Accessible only by float plane, this remote wilderness regularly produces outstanding trophies of Stone sheep, mountain goat, moose, mountain caribou and mountain Grizzly. The moose found in the area are larger than the average Canadian Moose due to the fact that the hunting concession is a mere 60 miles from the Yukon border, bringing the influence of the large Yukon Moose. Tahltan Outfitters area hosts an astonishing number of over thirty lakes. These lakes are surrounded by an intricate swamp system and offer some of the best moose hunting in British Columbia. The moose harvested with Tahltan Outfitters average 50 plus inches with 60 plus inch bulls being taken each season. The base camps and numerous spike camps are strategically placed throughout the concession and are accessed by horseback or boats. The area has seen very little or almost no hunting pressure from residents, allowing the game to reach full maturity and achieve high trophy quality. Camps consist of rustic cabins or comfortable wall tents and are supplied with all necessary equipment. Included are accommodations, meals, guide service, trophy fee for moose and wolf, and field prep. Hunt may be upgraded to include mountain caribou or Grizzly bear; see outfitter for details. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, license ($230), moose tag ($300), wolf tag ($50), NRHPF ($250), air charter ($1,300), GST, dip/pack/ship and gratuities. Arrival/departure point is Dease Lake. For more information, contact Jim Peterson at 250-877-0555 or jimpeterson300@gmail.com. Company's website: www.tahltanoutfitters.com
