Journey to the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan for the greatest trophy of Asia, the Marco Polo sheep. This 10-day, 1x1 guided, Marco Polo argali hunt program for one hunter is donated by Robert Kern and the Hunting Consortium Ltd. The Hunting Consortium is the largest organizer of Marco Polo sheep hunts in the world, working in Tajikistan since 1990, when hunts for this magnificent sheep began. The company has maintained a success rate of 100 percent for more than 20 years. Hunt between October and December 2015 or February 2016, according to camp schedule dates and openings. The Hunting Consortium will arrange the required CITES export permit (included) and assist hunters in applying for a U.S. federal import permit (not included). The hunt includes the license for one Marco Polo sheep, CITES export permit, a fully staffed camp with meals, transportation from Khorog, two guides to each hunter and field prep of trophies. All camps have hot showers, satellite phones and expedition medical kits. Upgrade to include Mid-Asian ibex, Afghan urial or other Asian species according to the Hunting Consortium price list. Additional hunters cost $42,000; non-hunters $4,500.
