113 Authentic Ancient Prehistoric Willow Leaf Arrow Points or Flint Preforms. These were found in South Texas and used by Native Americans during the Archaic Period (8000 - 1000 BC). Arrowheads from South Texas were primarily used as tools and weapons. Beyond their use in hunting and warfare, some arrowheads were adapted for other tasks like woodworking, hide scraping, and even as knives or lances. They are displayed in a Wooden Frame with No Glass that measures 35" Tall x 21" Wide. ARROWHEADS *While these arrowheads came from an estate of a long-time collector; we as the auction company are not going to get into a protracted discussion about age and authenticity. This collector has no paperwork or COA as to age or authenticity. While we believe the vast majority; if not all to be old; we are wholly uncomfortable with an argument with qualified and unqualified, alleged authorities.
