Trip Summary

You will arrive at Madrid airport (Adolfo Suárez Airport), where Iberhunting staff will meet and accompany you through the duration of your trip. After receiving rifle clearance, you will be transferred to the hotel close to the Gredos hunting area, have dinner in the restaurant at the hotel, and relax for the beginning of the adventure.

1st Destination – Gredos Ibex (Days 1-3)
Gredos Ibex are famous for being the biggest of the four different Spanish ibex. Characterized by a dark coat, and along with the Ibex of Beceite, has
the largest horns. You will stay in a small boutique hotel with a welcoming ambiance and beautiful natural surroundings and excellent cuisine. Eateries
in Castilla y León include roast lamb, pork, fresh beef and discovering the delicacy of codfish and trout in recipes. You will discover the Spanish
tradition and taste in the use of basic fresh ingredients and locally farmed produce. Dinners include sublime sweets made in old monasteries and
convents, local high-end wines, with a setting along the Duero river.

2nd Destination – Beceite Ibex (Days 4-6)
The second hunt will take place in the high mountains in the Beceite hunting area. Male Beceite Ibex have large, ringed horns that expand laterally like
airplane wings, a characteristic that distinguishes this species from ibex found in other areas of the country.

Los Puertos de Beceite is a mountainous massif and due to its geographic location near the Mediterranean, this community is a place of amazing contrasting landscapes reflected in the local cuisine, where you’ll find both traditional flavors and culinary innovations of exceptional quality. Valencian cuisine is characterized by a wealth of recipes that are as healthy as they are delicious. The secret lies in the natural ingredients from the sea and the garden: the oils, vegetables, spices, fruits, meat and fresh fish dishes that make up the “Mediterranean Diet”. The hotel, Martin el Humano, a building
from the 18th century, is located in an incomparable setting surrounded by history and nature with an enchanting atmosphere that will make your stay or event an unforgettable experience. Its award-winning chef, Javier Simón, offers a wide variety of a-la-carte lunch and dinner options.

3rd Destination – Sierra Nevada Ibex (Days 7-9)
The third destination is to pursue the Sierra Nevada Ibex, which is a very ancient species. Males have thick, rough, knotty horns and are usually in the shape of semicircles curving backward. They move easily around vertical rock walls, thanks to the non-slip peculiarity of their hooves. The Sierra Nevada is a mountainous massif belonging to the Baetic mountain range, more specifically, the Penibetico range.

For accommodations, you will stay at a charming hotel situated in the heart of the countryside. This nice family hotel and restaurant will captivate you thanks to its friendly and cozy atmosphere representing the rich and traditional cuisine of the region.

4th Destination – Ronda Ibex (Days 10-12)
The fourth and final destination takes place in the National Park of Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama in Southern Spain, in the region of Andalucia and Malaga where you will pursue Ronda Ibex. Ronda is the smallest of the four different types of ibex in Spain mainly differentiated by the scarcity of black spots on its coat. The hair is shorter, with a less abundant mane and less occipital width in the cranium. The horns grow upwards in a V shape and then backward with a 90 degree spiral twist.

You will arrive in Málaga and be transferred to the Hotel La Viñuela & Spa, one of the most well-known hotels in the area and located in one of the most beautiful natural areas of Andalucia. This picturesque village is only 15 minutes from the coast and near the National Park. Seafood cuisine is exquisite in this region, with inland dishes of veal in garlic and fried goat paired with delicious wines of the region as well. Wines with the denomination of origin “Málaga” made using grapes of the variety “Pedro Ximénez” and “Moscatel”. These wines clearly show a Mediterranean nature, sweet and velvety.

This hunt is for bronze medal ibex. 21% VAT Tax is included and NOT the responsibility of the hunter. Airfare & gratuities not included.
