12-Day Alaskan Combination Hunt for 2 Hunters
The Perrins’ Rainy Pass Lodge
Steve Perrins, (SCI's 2022 North American Professional Hunter of the Year), has generously donated a 12-day Alaska combination hunt for 2 hunters (or 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter). Included are trophy fees for 1 Dall Sheep, 1 Brown/Grizzly Bear, 1 Caribou, and 1 Black Bear. Trophies are to be shared between hunters. Moose can be added for an additional trophy fee of $7,500. Additionally, a second of each animal species can be added on a trophy fee basis: Dall Sheep ($4,500), Moose ($7,500), Brown/Grizzly Bear ($5,000), Caribou ($2,500), Black Bear ($750). Wolf can be taken with no trophy fee. Hunt dates are August 21st thru Sept 1st, 2023, or same dates in 2024. Note--any price increases from 2023 are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Rainy Pass Lodge is located 125 miles to the northwest of Anchorage in the Alaska Range. This is the oldest established hunting lodge in Alaska. Hunters have been hunting from here well before Alaska became a state. Hunters will stay in a beautiful 1st class lodge or remote wood cabins (no cold wet tents). You will hunt from horses flown into and kept year-round in this pristine wilderness. Horses give you the capability to cover vast areas of land and aid immeasurably in the recovery of game. Donation includes trophy fees as previously described, lodging, 2x1 guide services, transportation in the field, meals, and field preparation of trophies. Hunters may use gun or bow. Not included are license, big game tags, flight to/from Anchorage to lodge (currently $1,200 pp r/t), expenses prior to and after hunt, gratuities, and Hunter's Preservation fee of $150.
