12 EARLY 20TH CENTURY US MILITARY HATS.

1) CAVALRY. A 1930s period Cavalry enlisted dress visor cap w/ dark blue crown & dark blue band bordered in yellow. Black chinstrap & visor. Interior sweatshield reads in part, “HIRSCH TYLER COMPANY UNIFORMS”.
2) ARMY. A WWII era officer’s visor cap w/ a gray brown crown & green band. Front features a gilded officer’s eagle. Brown chinstrap & visor.
3) ARMY. A 1930s to WWII era enlisted visor cap w/ a khaki crown & band. Front features an enlisted eagle on circular backing. Brown chinstrap & visor.
4) ARTILLERY. A 1920s to 30s era enlisted visor cap w/ green crown & band. Front features an enlisted eagle on circular backing w/ red disk behind. Brown chinstrap & visor w/ secondary rear buckled chinstrap. Sweatshield marked, “MAX WAX UNIFORMS FOR ETHAN ALLEN, VT.”.
5) ARMY. A WWII era officer’s visor cap w/ green crown & dark green band. Front features a gilded officer’s eagle insignia. Gold chinstrap w/ gold bullion oak leaf & acorn embroidered visor. Interior label reads in part, “FLIGHT ACE ACE MANUFACTURING COMPANY SAN ANTONIO TEXAS”.
6) ARMY. A 1912 officer’s summer dress visor cap w/ white crown & band. Front features a gilded officer’s eagle insignia. Gold chinstrap w/ black visor. Inked name on inside reads, “J. BURD.”.
7) ARMY. A WWII era enlisted visor cap w/ field green crown & band. Front features an enlisted eagle on circular backing. Brown chinstrap & visor w/ buckled chinstrap around the back. Interior card reads, “FRED J VOORHEES LEBANON NEW JERSEY”. Voorhees received the Silver Star for action at Margaret, Belgium.
8) ARMY. A WWII era officer’s visor cap w/ khaki crown & green mohair band. Front features a gilded officer’s eagle insignia. Brown chinstrap w/ brown visor.
9) CIVIL AIR PATROL. A WWII era visor cap w/ green crown & green mohair band. Front features a winged blue & red enamel Civil Air Patrol disk. Brown chinstrap w/ brown visor & buckled brown visor to the rear.
10) MARINE. A Marine Corps WWII style pith helmet. Helmet is khaki w/ a sm. EGA on the front. Interior is green w/ brown leather sweatband. Hat has a partial mark that appears to read, “INTERNATIONAL HAT CO W30-280-QM-11356 31 DECEMBER”.
11) MEDICAL. A WWI era campaign hat in drab green w/ a field green hat band. Hat features a maroon & white medical hat cord. Full leather sweatband. No chinstrap.
12) INFANTRY. A WWI era campaign hat that is tan/green in color w/ a green hat band. Hat features a white hat cord. Leather sweatband & chinstrap. CONDITION: most hats show light wear & are in fine condition for their age. (02-15767/BF). $800-1,100.
