RETAILED BY SLOAN'S. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". / 30-06. S# 30010. Bbls. 28 1/2", set fitted w/ raised matted full length rib holding pop up U notch rear & silver bead front sights. Tops of bbls. engraved "Made By Gebr. Adamy, Suhl, Germany" & "Sole U.S. Agents Sloan's Sporting Goods Co., New-York" & "De Luxe Grade". Bbl. flats stamped w/ October 1929 German imperial nitro proofs for 12 ga. & 30-06. Case hardened boxlock scallop backed action features Greener type side safety, rifle/shotgun selector on top tang, pin cocking indicators on top, crossbolt third fastener, side clips & dbl. triggers (front set). Action engraved w/ near full coverage varying size (mostly small) scroll w/ line & scroll borders. Trigger guard is steel. Nicely fiddle figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 13 1/2" over old black "White Line" pad. Stock features shadow line right hand cheekpiece, inlet horn drop points, point pattern checkering at grip, vacant silver oval on toeline along w/ a sling loop matching one on bottom bbl. Matching splinter forend w/ inlet horn tip has Deeley release. SHOTGUN BARREL DIMENSIONS: bore dia: left .714, right .714. Bore restrictions: left .035(extra full), right .040 (extra full). Wall thickness: left .033, right .035. STOCK: DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 5/8". WEIGHT: 7 lbs., 15 oz. CONDITION: good. Mostly original as found. Bbl. retaining most of its original blue w/ considerable hand wear on sides. Action retains approx. 60-70% original case hardening color. Stocks retain most of their original oil finish w/ a few marks, some fairly deep. Newer pad is squashed & hard. All bores are bright & shiny. Action is tight. (21-3938/MGM). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
