1) US M1880 HUNTING KNIFE. Overall length: 14 1/2". Blade length: 8 1/2". Wide blade w/ raised medial ridge. Type 1 iron guard marked “US SPRINGFIELD” & “342”. Turned wood grip. Type 4 brass bound leather scabbard. CONDITION: blade has material loss to the edge from repeated sharpening. Blade has a medium gray slightly mottled patina. Grip has a notable chip at the pommel. Scabbard shows moderate wear. 2) KA-BAR BUTCHER’S KNIFE. Overall length: 19 1/4". Blade length: 13 3/4". Lg. flat blade stamped “KA-BAR” near the spine. 2 Piece wood grip w/ 3 iron rivets on each side (1 missing). No sheath. CONDITION: blade has a dark patina. Grip shows moderate to heavy wear. 3) US M1904 HOSPITAL CORPSMAN’S KNIFE. Overall length: 17 3/4". Blade length: 11 7/8". Blade is marked “US 346” & “1904”. 2 Piece wood grip w/ finger ridges featuring 3 brass rivets on each side & a brass pommel cap. Type 2 scabbard w/ steel belt loop. CONDITION: blade has a medium to dark patina. Grips have a few scuffs & scrapes but no major faults. Scabbard is heavily worn w/ flexing & crazing. 4) US M1904 HOSPITAL CORPSMAN’S KNIFE. Overall length: 17 1/2". Blade length: 11 3/4". Blade is marked “US 31624” & “SA (flaming bomb) 1913". 2 Piece wood grip w/ finger ridges featuring 3 brass rivets on each side & a brass pommel cap. Type 2 scabbard w/ steel belt loop. CONDITION: blade has a medium gray cleaned patina w/ ample evidence of cleaned pitting. Grips show minor scuffs & scrapes. Scabbard is very heavily worn w/ losses & breaks near the throat. 5) 45-70 BAYONET. Overall length: 19 1/2". Blade length: 16 1/4". A standard 45-70 bayonet marked “US” on the flap. No scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet has an oxidized blued finish. 6) DIVER’S KNIFE. Overall length: 13 1/2". Blade length: 6 1/2". Plain unmarked blade w/ raised medial ridge & a single saw tooth edge. Light wood grip w/ brass pommel. Rnd. threaded guard screws into solid brass scabbard w/ built in strap ring. CONDITION: blade appears like new. Grip shows the lightest wear. Scabbard has numerous dents towards the base likely from being used as a hammer. 7) FAIRBAIRN-SYKES STILETTO. Overall length: 13". Blade length: 7". Blued blade w/ raised medial ridge. Darkened cast hilt. Top of crossguard marked “SHEFFIELD ENGLAND” & “NATO N9 4658827 1976”. Leather scabbard w/ brass tip & elastic securing strap. CONDITION: blade shows very light wear. Hilt shows light to moderate wear. Scabbard shows light to moderate wear w/ minor flexing. 8) MARBLES SAFETY HATCHET. Overall length: 10 5/8". A nice example of a vintage Marbles Safety Hatchet No 2 or pocket axe. Blade is covered by a steel safety arm stamped “MARBLE ARMS & MFG. CO. GLADSTONE, MICH. USA PAT'D 1898”. 2 Piece black composite grip marked “MARBLES” on each side. 2 Attachment screws on each grip. This is likely a third model hatchet made sometime after World War I and before WWII. CONDITION: hatchet shows light to moderate wear overall. 9) US M1942 BAYONET. Overall length: 21 3/4". Blade length: 15 7/8". Blade is marked “AFH U(flaming bomb)S 1943”. 2 Piece textured composite grip. Green hard plastic scabbard. Throat marked “USN MK 1”. CONDITION: blade has over 50% darkened finish intact. Hilt & scabbard show light to moderate wear. 10) US M1 RIFLE BAYONET. Overall length: 16". Blade length: 10". Blade appears to be modified from a longer version & is marked at the ricasso “U.C. U.(flaming bomb)S.”. 2 Piece textured composite grip. Green hard plastic scabbard. Throat marked “U.S.” in a flaming bomb. CONDITION: blade has been sharpened & shows file marks throughout likely from shortening. Hilt & scabbard show light wear. 11) US M1917 BOLO. Overall length: 16". Blade length: 10". Blade marked “U.S. MOD. 1917” & “PLUMB PHILA 1918”. 2 Piece wood grip. Tan canvas covered iron scabbard w/ leather tip. Scabbard is attached to a green web belt. CONDITION: blade shows evidence of heavy sharpening. Grips show moderate wear. Scabbard & belt show light to moderate wear. 12) REPRODUCTION PISTOL DIRK. Overall length: 16". Blade length: 10 3/4". A modern decorative reproduction of a horse head dirk w/ flintlock pistol integral to the hilt. Brass pistol has a Queen Anne style cannon form bbl. S shaped guard. 2 Piece faux ivory grips. No scabbard. CONDITION: very light overall wear. (02-13744(12)/BF). $800-1,200.
