13 MILITARY HELMETS.

1) BRITISH. A British Mark V helmet with overall OD painted finish. Foam & cloth liner. Cotton OD chinstrap marked “M.W.S. 1987 973-6537”. CONDITION: helmet shows light wear overall.
2) EAST GERMAN. An East German M1956 helmet with green painted finish & correct net covering. Brown leather liner & 4 point chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet appears unissued.
3) SPANISH. A rare example of a Spanish M1921 helmet made by The National Arsenal of Artillery in Trubia. Helmet has a dull OD finish with a 3 pad brown leather liner & brown leather chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet shows moderate wear overall.
4) BRITISH. A British doughboy style helmet dated 1939 with a dark green painted finish. Black leather liner with khaki canvas chinstrap. CONDITION: light wear overall.
5) U.S. An early WWII US M1917 helmet with a dark green sanded finish. Brown leather 4 tongue liner with khaki cotton web chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet shows light wear throughout with some mold on the leather.
6) U.S. A WWI era US M1917 helmet with a dark green lightly sanded finish. Black painted canvas liner & brown leather chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet shows light wear throughout.
7) ITALIAN. A WWII era Italian M1933 helmet as worn by the Carabinieri. Helmet has a black painted finish with a stenciled silver painted Carabinieri insignia on the front. Brown leather 8 tongue liner with brown leather chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet finish is 98% as repainted in the period. Liner & chinstrap show moderate wear.
8) ITALIAN. A WWII era Italian M1933 helmet for the Guardia Nazionale Republicana. Helmet has a green painted finish with a black painted "M" & bar monogram on the front & a single bar & circle on the left side. Dark brown leather 8 tongue liner with dark brown chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 92%. Liner shows moderate wear with some losses. Chinstrap is intact.
9) BULGARIAN. A WWII era Bulgarian M34/39 helmet also use by the Greeks. Helmet has a dull green painted finish & an 8 tongue leather liner with a brown leather chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet shows light wear overall.
10) CZECHOSLOVAKIAN. A rare WWII era Czech M1932 helmet as used by Airborne troops. Helmet has a steel blue painted finish with a narrow green stripe near the lower edge of the helmet. 5 Pad light gray leather liner with divided leather chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet shows light wear overall. Chinstrap is a bit stiff.
11) CZECHOSLOVAKIAN. An interesting WWII era Czech M1932 helmet overpainted in the period with dark steel blue paint. It is likely that this helmet was reissued during WWII to German Volksturm or Luftschutz personnel. 5 Pad white leather liner with brown leather divided chinstrap. Inside of the helmet is stamped, "BraktG&BBrno (crest)-38 8". CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 60%. Liner & chinstrap show moderate wear.
12) CZECHOSLOVAKIAN. An interesting WWII era Czech VZ30 helmet likely reissued during the Spanish Civil War. Helmet has a medium green painted finish with a 6 tongue brown leather liner & brown leather chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet finish is near 100%. Liner & chinstrap show moderate wear. Helmet has possibly been repainted.
13) CZECHOSLOVAKIAN. A scarce pre-WWII era Czech M1929 helmet with a plated iron comb on the top & plated rampant lion badge on the front. Helmet has a black painted finish with a gray 4 pad liner & unique black leather divided chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 95%. Liner & chinstrap show light wear.
