14 Day South African
Lioness Hunt
Dwane Booysen of Booysen Safaris has come up with
an awesome hunt for our 8th annual banquet. This
is a full 14 day safari in the Kalahari region of North
West Province of South Africa, and includes the trophy
fee for a mature lioness. Only mature animals can
be shot, and only on a few accredited areas in South
Africa. The areas hunted are very desolate areas,
5000 to 10000 hectare places, where lions can roam
freely.
It is one of the most intense hunts that you can do in
Africa, except maybe Dugga bulls in the thick bush
veldt. In South Africa its strictly fair chase as you are
not allowed by law to bait for lion. All hunting is done
on foot and the lion is stalked by you, trackers, a PH
and a back-up PH. Minimum caliber of .375 and up is
required, and Dwayne can loan you one of his if you
need.
Accommodations will be at a
PREMIUM 5 STAR PLUS LODGE
This will be an experience not to be missed, and you
can also upgrade to a male lion and/or bull elephant.

This really helps out these outfitters and hunting companies that are trying to help us! With few exceptions, these donors are not wealthy philanthropists, but rather they donate to help wildlife, ensure the future of our sport, and generate new business for themselves. 2. We do our best to solicit donated hunts only from competent outfitters. However, we do not guarantee the quality or success of any hunt purchased at this auction. All of this said, it is important to note that hunts purchased at our auction generally go very well, with both the donor and the buyer being well satisfied. Certain trips such as mountain hunts or spot and stalk hunts require a high level of physical fitness to maximize the opportunity for success. Other trips, such as game ranch hunts, are not physically demanding.
