14-day Namibia Non-Exportable Elephant Hunt for One Hunter and One Observer
Peter Thormahlen of Thormahlen and Cochran Safaris Namibia, has donated a fantastic 14 day, 1x1 guided, non-exportable ('own use') elephant hunt for one hunter and one observer in the free range Bushmanland concession of Namibia. Method of take is rifle. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates during 2020 or 2021. The hunt will take place in the largest conservancy in the country, which shares an eastern boundary with Botswana. It is covered with Kalahari sands flat landscapes of broadleaved and acacia woodlands. This is an ideal opportunity for an avid hunter who wants to hunt big game free-range but who is not interested in taxidermy and importation of trophies. Your safari would also hugely contribute towards conservation as the proceeds and meat are used towards uplifting of the conservancy. Game that can be added: trophy elephant, leopard, gemsbuck, giraffe, steenbuck, blue wildebeest, caracal and spotted hyena. Thormahlen & Cochran Safaris provides a high-quality tented safari camp; outstanding African cuisine; 4x4 Land Cruiser hunting cars; highly trained trackers and friendly; well-mannered and energetic professional hunters-all included in your safari. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, flights, 15% VAT on daily rates and gratuities. Rifle rent available. Arrival/departure point is Windhoek, Namibia. Peter was the 2018 International Professional Hunter of the Year; many SCI members have hunted with Peter and references are available.
