BIDDING
Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. All bidders are required to complete the registration and obtain a bidder number. All registration cards contain the full name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. Absentee bids may be left via our website, or at our store location. Absentee bidders agree to all terms and conditions. In terms of a tie in bidding between an absentee bidder and the house, the house will win said item at their amount bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and may also, at his or her election, withdraw the lot or offer the lot for resale. PAYMENT
All Florida residents are subject to a 7.5% sales tax. Payment for all auction items must be received within TWO WEEKS (14 days) from the date of auction ending. If an invoice remains unpaid for longer than this time, the item(s) will be considered forfeited and ownership of property will revert back to Affiliated Auctions. When bidding through Proxibid.com, the stored payment method will be automatically processed at the end of the auction. Payment may be made by money order or check that is supported by a valid banker's card (up to card maximum). We also accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Paypal, and personal checks.
