SILVER & IVORY MOUNTED SHORT SWORD & MORION HELMET. Cal. 60. NSN. Wheelock is 22" overall w/ 13 1/2" oct. bbl. w/ bone & mother of pearl inset decoration. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Wheelock is accompanied by carved rams horn powder flask & folding cocking wrench. Ivory & silver mounted hunting sword measures 26" overall w/ 22 1/2" wide single edged blade w/ etched decoration. Sheet iron morion helmet is approx. 14" tall & 14" across w/ etched & repoussé decoration. CONDITION: pistol is good to very good overall, retaining original inlays as made possibly functional, though could not be cranked as wrench has too lg. diameter. Clear, smooth pitted bore. Sword is very good overall w/ smooth gray blade, staining & discernable etched decoration. Silver cross guard has numerous sm. dents. Silver mounted scabbard has replacement leather. Original antique ivory grip has one lg. crack & chip repair. Flask is heavily weathered on noncarved side w/ pitted iron mountings. Wheelock crank is very good overall.
