18ASS-1 JAP MATCHLOCKLarge classic Japanese Matchlock rifle, approximately 39” overall with a 27.5” heavy barrel, brass mountings and wood stock; overall good condition with working action, dark patina to iron barrel with markings onthe left side of barrel at breech, inlays on the top barrel flat at breech and decoration to iron trigger guard; wood stock is good overall with a nice patina; several old cracks visible; one at the top of the wrist,another on the left side of the butt stock area.
